Your Support Makes Such a DifferenceWhen you make a donation to the Grand Rapids Civic Theatre and School of Theatre Arts, you are certainly responsible for helping to bridge the gap between our ticket sales and our actual costs of putting on a show - royalties, lumber, lighting, sound - everything that creates the magic you see on our stage. You also help us to operate our historic facility that is such an important part of downtown Grand Rapids. In fact, you literally help us keep the lights on! You also help us do so much more. The Grand Rapids Civic Theatre is a non-profit 501(c)3 corporation. All gifts are tax deductable to the fullest extent of the law. Make A DonationMuch of the support for the Grand Rapids Civic Theatre and School of Theatre Arts comes through general donations from our many friends and patrons. Buy a Brick Campaign
In the fall of 2007, Grand Rapids Civic Theatre gave you the opportunity to honor family or friends, to remember a loved one and to express your personal or corporate commitment to the Grand Rapids Civic Theatre. This opportunity for a permanent naming opportunity with an etched brick placed at the Library Street entrance of the Meijer Majestic Theatre, a personalized dressing room station plaque or a theatre seat plaque continues. All funds raised through this fundraising initiative are designated to the Grand Rapids Civic Theatre's Endowment Fund, which provides a perpetual base of support to assure the financial stability of the theatre.
